BELGRADE: UN Goodwill Ambassador to Pakistan, the awe-inspiring Muniba Mazari was recently honored by the Karic Foundation in Serbia with an award for her humanitarian services towards the people of her country in a star-studded event.

Overwhelmed by the stature that she was graced with, Muniba quickly took to Facebook to post about the award, whilst sharing pictures of the award ceremony too.

She wrote:

A lot of people came together to congratulate the remarkable lady for her latest achievement.

The magical night provided a perfect opportunity for the exemplary woman, who soon took the center-stage to sing a patriotic song for exhibiting the respect and love she has for her beloved homeland, Pakistan.

A Pakistani artist, activist, motivational speaker, singer, and television host, Muniba uses a wheelchair due to injuries sustained in a car accident at the age of 21.

She is Pakistan’s first Goodwill Ambassador to UNWomen Pakistan. She is one of the Forbes 30 under 30 for 2016 in Media and Marketing Category and one of the BBC’s top 100 women for 2015.

While Muniba plays a role model for all people, men and women alike, we wish her all the best for her future endeavors and hope that she continues to do the country proud on international avenues in the same fashion.
