SC wonders how PM established Jeddah factories in exile

ISLAMABAD: As hearings for the Panama Leaks case resumed on Thursday, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa questioned how the Nawaz Sharif had arrange Jeddah factories from exile, if Musharraf had taken over his leftover factories, as the PM had earlier claimed.

The attorney for top Minister Nawaz Sharif submitted his reply at the Supreme courtroom because the apex courtroom resumed hearing for the Panama Leaks case. Copies of the reply had been also given to the PTI.

PTI lawyer Naeem Bukhari had entreated the bench to discard the Qatari prince’s letter and said that prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had never talked about in his previous statements relating to the existence of any letter from the prince of Qatar. Bukhari urged the courts to discard the letter because it was now not in harmony with Nawaz Sharif’s previous statements.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that the letter had been written as a clarification from the top Minister’s kids.

“If the letter is expunged, then what will transform of the clarification given with the aid of the high Minister’s kids?” he requested.

proceedings of the case were delayed till January 6.
