ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on Monday requested Defence Minister Khawaa Muhammad Asif to transient the upper house of the parliament on the appointment of common (retd) Raheel Sharif as head of the Islamic military Alliance, days after latter demonstrated at a television speak convey that the ex Pakistan military chief has taken up the job.
